EMINA Sugar Rush: A Review of Lip Scrub, Face Scrub, and Lipstick

Introduction

As a beauty enthusiast, I'm always excited to try out new products that promise to deliver results. In this review, I'll be sharing my experience with EMINA Sugar Rush, a range of lip scrub, face scrub, and lipstick. Let's dive in!

Lip Scrub: A Sweet Treat

The first product I tried was the EMINA Sugar Rush Lip Scrub. The packaging is adorable, with a cute font that's hard to resist! Unfortunately, the pot packaging isn't my favorite, as it exposes the product to air and potential dirt and bacteria.

The texture of the scrub is solid but melts when you touch it with your finger. It has white base with dark scrub particles mixed in. I took a small amount and massaged it onto my lips in circular motion. The caramel scent was lovely, reminiscent of candy!

Before and After

After about 1-2 minutes of massaging the scrub, I rinsed it off with warm water. You can also use wet tissues to wipe it away. The result was quite nice and noticeable – my lips looked smoother and softer.

Face Scrub: A Mixed Bag

Next up is the EMINA Sugar Rush Face Scrub. This product has real sugar particles and a sweet vanilla scent that I'm not a fan of (more on that later). The texture is thick, with larger scrub particles than most face scrubs I've tried.

While it does leave my skin feeling smooth, I found the scrub particles to be too big and harsh for my skin. I think they could improve the formula by making the beads smaller and gentler.

Lipstick: A Semi-Matte Delight

Now onto the EMINA Sugar Rush Lipstick! I got two shades: Cookie Dough and Pink Velvet. Both have a semi-matte finish that I adore. The lipstick contains vitamin E, olive oil, jojoba oil, and shea butter to keep my lips moisturized.

The lipstick glides smoothly onto my lips, providing full coverage with just two layers. It lasts around 4-5 hours without eating, which is impressive for under Rp 50,000!

Shades: Cookie Dough and Pink Velvet

Cookie Dough is a peachy nude shade that looks great on me (warm undertones, medium tone). Pink Velvet, on the other hand, is stunning! It's intense, yet adjustable – I can add more layers for a bolder look.

==========

Overall, I'm pleased with EMINA Sugar Rush. The lip scrub is nice, and I love the lipstick (Cookie Dough is my favorite). However, I'm not a fan of the face scrub due to its harsh texture and strong vanilla scent. Maybe they could tone down the scent or improve the formula.

The packaging, though, is adorable – it's hard not to fall in love! If you're into cute packaging like me, be sure to add EMINA Sugar Rush to your collection.

If you love ombre lips and cute packaging, EMINA Sugar Rush is a great choice! Just remember that the face scrub might not be for everyone (like me).
