In a ceremony held on March 24, 2023, Monsieur Oumarou BARRO, Economic Counselor, Class I, Level 8, was appointed as the new Director General of Promotion of Enterprise (DGPE).

The handover ceremony took place on March 31, 2023, at the Ministry of Commerce's conference room, under the chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the ministry.

As the new DGPE and Permanent Secretary of the CC-SE, Monsieur BARRO has promised to face the challenges with the support of all stakeholders.

CC-SE holds its 44th meeting

The State-owned Enterprises Coordination Framework (CC-SE) held its 44th meeting on March 15, 2023, at the Centre for Management of Cities (CEGECI), under the chairmanship of Professor Rabiou CISSE.

During this meeting, several key issues were discussed:

• A presentation by the Société de Gestion de l'Equipement et de la Maintenance Biomédicale (SOGEMAB);
• A sharing of experiences by the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) on the development and implementation of a multi-year training plan for personnel;
• A presentation of the reference framework for developing a comprehensive framework for state-owned enterprises.

These discussions aimed to promote coordination and cooperation among state-owned enterprises, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the country's economy.
