Casa Real: A Mixed Bag of Luxury and Disappointment

Casa Real: A Mixed Bag of Luxury and Disappointment

Casa Real, a four-star hotel located in the heart of Macau, offers a mix of luxurious amenities and disappointing experiences. From frozen seafood to smoked salmon, marinated goose wings, and an array of sushi options, the value seems ridiculous. Other culinary delights include salads, soups, breads, drinks, and desserts. However, patrons are limited to just two hours of dining time.

Located on the 2nd floor, daily hours are from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm, and 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Gym

The gym facilities at Casa Real leave much to be desired. With no free spa amenities and a tiny space that barely qualifies as a proper gym, it's a disappointing experience. The few cardio machines and minimal lifting equipment on offer don't quite live up to the expectations of a luxury hotel.

Located on the 5th floor, hours are from 7 am to 9 pm.

Casa Real Spa

The East Castle Spa at Casa Real is an exclusive offering that caters to discerning patrons. With prices ranging from $3200 to $6400 for full-service treatments and $1838 for a tamer massage that concludes with a happy ending, it's an astronomical experience. The door pass costs $1500 and grants access for 12 hours.

Located on the 4th floor, East Castle Spa stays open 24 hours.

Casa Real Bars

Knights Bar is conveniently located in the lobby, offering both food and drinks at affordable prices. From beverages like fancy milkshakes ($48), juice ($35), and coffee/tea ($25 to $68), to cocktails, beers, spirits, champagne, and wine, there's something for everyone.

Food options include snacks ranging from $28 to $68 and mains running from $60 to $138. Fresh fruit platters are also available for $68 and $88.

Located in the lobby, Knights Bar never closes.

The Last Word

Despite being one of the better four-star hotels in town, Casa Real's poor location precludes it from being a viable living option. The area around the Ferry Terminal just isn't suitable for tourists. As for the casino, while it can be a lot of fun and full of people, the lack of player cards and promotions might deter more serious players.

Location

Casa Real is situated between the Golden Dragon and Jai Alai, approximately a ten-minute walk away from the Macau Ferry Terminal.
