Casino in Singapore: Is There Any Entry Fee for Foreigners

Singapore Government's Policy on Casinos

The government of Singapore has a rather strict policy when it comes to casinos. While they allow people to enter and exit gambling places without any permits or worries, there is still an entry fee that applies to certain individuals.

Who Needs to Pay Entry Fees in Singapore Casinos?

Only two groups of people are required to pay an entry fee to enter a casino in Singapore: Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs). This means that if you are visiting Singapore for vacation or business, you can enter and exit the casinos without paying any fees. However, there may be minimum betting amounts in each casino.

Entry Fees for a Casino in Singapore

The daily entry fee for a casino in Singapore used to be S$100 but has recently been increased to S$150. This fee is required before entering the casino, and the entry is valid for 6 hours from the time of purchase.

On the other hand, citizens and PRs can also pay S$3,000 to buy an Annual Entry Pass. With this pass, they can spend a maximum of 6 hours per day on the casino, and the entry will last until midnight of the one-year purchase anniversary. It's worth noting that once you buy a permit, the time will start ticking whether or not you physically enter the casino.
