Starting the Scope Out mission
To begin the GTA 5 Diamond Casino Heist Scope Out mission, you need to go to the planning board in your Arcade basement and interact with it. Then, select the square marked 'Scope Out Casino' at the top, and you can go to Diamond Casino and take photos of all the points of interest using your phone to send to Lester. Developers seem to want people to enter the casino from the roof, with most access points placed there.
- Roof entry 1: The first entry point might be on the rooftop placed next to the helicopter pad. You can access it via the elevator inside the casino.
- Roof entry 2: The next entry point is opposite the first entry. Turn 180 degrees, and you'll see it.
- Roof entry 3: Walk across to the other side of the helicopter pad to reach the final entry point in this area.
- Roof entry 4: Another entry point may be found to the left of the pool on the rooftop garden area.
- Roof entry 5: This is the most elusive rooftop entry. You need to veer right immediately after exiting the elevator and follow a narrow path.
- Roof entry 6: This entry point still lies on the rooftop but at the back of the building. Simply jump down from the helicopter pad and head towards the opposite side of the garden to locate this entry.
- Roof entry 7: This entry is right next to the previous one – just walk along the wall until you spot it.
- Ground floor entry 1: This is one of the two ground floor entries. Loop around towards the back, near the racetrack, until you see it.
- Ground floor entry 2: This entry is a bit further away than the previous one. Just keep walking along the wall until you see it.
- Tunnel entrance: This entrance is often overlooked. Walk beneath the tunnel connecting the horse track with the parking lot and find the entrance to the garage. It's a hidden entry to access the casino.
- Sewer entrance: This is the most difficult entry to find. You need to go past the racetrack to the river, then turn south along the canal. You'll come across a tunnel. Enter inside until you see a grindable metal frame to open the way in, and that's the entrance to Diamond Casino.
Locations to check before executing the Diamond Casino Heist
These locations are crucial, and you shouldn't overlook them to prepare for the heist.
- Point of Interest 1: Take photos of any cameras in the vicinity of the casino – there are quite a few cameras around the building, even on the rooftop.
- Point of Interest 2: Guards standing next to the elevator.
- Point of Interest 3: Cameras installed on the ceiling of the casino.
- Point of Interest 4: Purple keypad next to the Restricted Access door for staff, behind the Chip exchange counter.
- Point of Interest 5: You can obtain the casino vault blueprints in the Management Section of the casino, inside Agatha's office. Head to a double door marked Management with a guard beside it. Enter and go upstairs to find Agatha's office – you need VIP membership to access this area.
- Point of Interest 6: The server at the main entrance is also a noteworthy point for several reasons.
