“And I am so, so happy you did, Daddy!” I giggled. “I'd been dreaming about you doing me for ages already, but I never would have had the courage to act on it, if you hadn't just taken control like that! It was perfect! Just how I always wanted!”
“Look at them all. We’re nothing but a novelty in their eyes, like a pretty canary in a cage,” Ingram huffed.“Maybe so, but I’m the canary that’s going to crush their champions,” Roc shot back.
With all that said without a word between them, Sarah slithered across the couch and cuddled up against him, happy at least she still had her dad. He was already working a tonne with his engineering job, but with mom gone, he now had to step up, organising meals, shopping, cleaning, and all the other little chores that he and mom were previously splitting.
